Unfortunately, we live in a very toxic world. Pollutants in the air, water and food supply put a lot of strain on all our organs especially the liver. The liver is responsible for neutralizing and clearing toxins from the bloodstream. All humans and animals are subjected to daily insults to their systems and this puts a huge burden on the liver.

Horses that have access to pasture are often exposed to toxic plants. Although you would think they would be discerning about the types of plants that they would graze on, this is not always the case. Horses are also exposed to large amounts of pesticide and herbicide residues in hays and grain products, heavy metals in water supply and vaccinations, antibiotics, de-wormers, toxic body products, and fly sprays. All these substances must be neutralized and removed by the liver.

A common cause of death, in elderly horses, is liver failure. This happens from a life time of toxin exposure. If we want to optimize the health of our animals, it is crucial that we support their liver and assist it in cleaning out toxins so they are not able to accumulate. We recommend doing an annual or bi-annual liver cleanse for your animals to help protect this important organ.

DOSING GENERAL GUIDELINES

MINI HORSES – 1-2 TSP 2X/DAY
PONIES – 2-3 TSP 2X/DAY
HORSES (800-1100 LBS) – 1-3 TBSP 2X/DAY
HORSES (>1100 LBS) – 2-3 TBSP 2X/DAY

DOSE MATTERS

If you do not notice change in your horses symptom do not hesitate to increase the dose. All horses respond differently to herbs. Some are very sensitive and require a smaller dose but some are not as sensitive or are much bigger in size and need bigger dose. Before you decide the formula doesn't work try increasing the dose.

LOADING DOSE

You may choose to start with a loading dose which would be doing a double dose for the first 1-2 weeks so that the herbs can accumulate in the system and start taking effect faster. Depending on the severity of the condition you may stay at the loading dose for longer. Reduce to a maintenance dose after symptoms become well managed.

FREQUENCY MATTERS

The more often you can administer the supplement the better it will work. Administering two times/day is ideal. One time per day could still be helpful but the supplement's effects wear off after about 6-8 hours. If feeding more than one time per day is not an option, double up on the dose.

PICKY EATERS

If your horse refuses the herbs or you know they are picky eaters start with a smaller dose and work your way up to the full dosage over 1-2 weeks. For example you may start with 1⁄4 or even 1/8th of a scoop and increase the dose daily until you reach full dose. This way your horse can adjust to the taste over time.

TIME DELAY

Some formulas such as Chill out Dude you will notice a change in 30-60 minutes but all the other formulas take time before you will notice results. Expect to see some initial changes in 2-4 weeks. After 2-3 months you will see the full potential of what the herbs can do.

Incredible

This product is incredible. I have a 21 year old Arabian who is prone to ulcers. I recently had to move him from one boarding facility to another unfortunately that sent his entire digestive tract out of whack. I decided to purchase the liver cleanse to help with the process of getting his system back in place. Within a few days of using the product he was no longer chewing at his sides, he was back eating consistently, and his bowel movements were improving.

Another Amazing Product!!!

My lil Arabian Gelding, Sandi, had been sprouting black, gnarly sarcoids on his lower front legs for a couple of years. They were continuing to mass and enlarge. Another skin condition that we have battled with somewhat, is rain rot on his back. He has also reached the nice, ripe age of 24. So, following Samantha's advice, I decided to give the Liver Cleanse a whirl. First off, I offered a little sample of the herbal concoction to him, in my hand. He caught a whiff of it, while I was pouring it onto my hand, and lipped it off of my hand with lightning speed...I am not exaggerating. He LOVED IT! I had to whisk the bag away! Anyhow, the skin beneath the sarcoids, actually healed throughout the treatment. Previously, the skin was raw beneath them. Upon completion of the treatment, the sarcoids had dropped off, the skin healed, and the rain rot, was greatly diminished . He also seemed to be more animated, bright-eyed, and his coat was super soft to the touch!!! I need to repeat the treatment regularly. The results were amazing, as usual! However, after 24 years of toxic abuse, I think a few more treatments, will radically revive this organ.

Thank you Samantha! I did a liver cleanse on several of two horses, a mule and a donkey. After the cleanse they showed improvement in their liver enzyme levels. They actually acted better and had more energy. This was used with WildFed horse feed.
